CandidPro is a new hybrid service that combines Candid’s industry-leading clear aligner treatment with the hands-on care of a local dentist. Our patients love the convenience of at-home treatment, but also want the peace of mind of being seen by a dentist who knows their faces and smiles.
Candid began as a completely remote clear aligner service. Since then, it has evolved into a hybrid treatment (CandidPro) that requires an initial consultation with an in-person dentist who collaborates with our team and remains involved as you complete your treatment. This means that a Candid approved dentist will give you the best, specialized care that you deserve as a patient.
Most of your treatment is at home but you have a dentist guiding you the whole time and is available for check-ins or any further help you may need. With the 24/7 Candid Monitoring System, it’s like having a dentist in your pocket.
We wanted to make the teeth straightening process as easy, efficient, and convenient for you as possible. That’s why we’re excited about our new Hybrid service. It allows CandidPro to work with you remotely, but also offers an office visit in-person if you would prefer that. We provide the same great care wherever and whenever works best for you.

How it works:
Candid offers convenient and affordable clear aligners, empowering you to transform your smile from home. Our dental aligners are made from clear plastic and fit snugly over your teeth, much less visible than traditional braces.
During your treatment, you’ll wear a series of clear aligners made just for you. Each aligner step requires two weeks of wear. At the end of each step, you’ll receive a notification via CandidApp™ to share a progress scan with your care team at Hood Canal Family Dental. These progress scans help us ensure your teeth are moving according to plan. It’s a great alternative to regular, in-person check-ins—especially if you’re on a tight schedule.

Step 1. Call Hood Canal Family Dental
Talk to our CandidPro aligner care team. Dr. Downing is a certified CandidPro expert and will answer any questions that you have about your care. You’ll receive a scan, photos and a mouth x-ray.
Step 2. CandidPro Delivery
You’ll get your full set of aligners, your CandidMonitoring™ materials, and premium whitening foam. They can be sent to your home or Hood Canal Family Dental. Your care team will tell you if you need to return for any special care or to pick up your aligners.
Step 3. CandidMonitoring™ check-ins
CandidMonitoring™ virtual check-ins give you peace of mind—and exceptional care—without leaving home.
You’ll send your CandidPro doctor scans of your teeth every 14 days, ensuring your treatment stays on track.
The CandidMonitoring system consists of three main components: the ScanBox device, a cheek retractor, and a mobile app.
To get started with CandidMonitoring, you’ll download the Candid app from the App Store or Google Play Store and sign in to your Candid portal. Every 14 days, you will be notified that it’s time to submit new photos of your teeth for review.

Fill out the form below to schedule an appointment.When you visit our office for the first time, your dentist will give you initial consultation, determine if you’re suitable for treatment, and take intraoral teeth scans.
Candid will send your scans to their orthodontic team, who will use them to design your treatment plan and create a 3D preview of your post-treatment smile. Once you approve the treatment plan, Candid will ship your aligners to you!
If Candid is not a good fit for you, we offer several ways to straighten your teeth. Invisalign® is one of them. We want you to have several options to choose the one that works best for your dental care and your budget. Check out their Invisalign® Mobile App!
